Use VPN to Connect to GHC’s Employee Portal (GHC Intranet)

  1. Launch the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.

    • Windows:

      AnyConnect software app in folder.

    • OS X:

      AnyConnect software app in folder.

  2. In the “Connect to:” field, enter “access.highlands.edu.” The software will remember the connection address so you will not have to enter it for future connection attempts.

    Click “Connect” to begin connection.

    • Windows:

  3. Enter your GHC username and password (omit @highlands.edu).

    • Windows:

      Modal for SSL VPN Access recommending login credentials. Username should not include @highlands.edu.

    • OS X:

      Modal for SSL VPN Access recommending login credentials. Username should not include @highlands.edu.

  4. Accept the use agreement reminder to complete the VPN connection process.

    • Windows:

    • OS X:

  5. You are now connected to our internal network via VPN.

    You may now access GHC’s Employee Portal (GHC Intranet).

    Note: Your Internet traffic will now be routed through our VPN server. Please use VPN responsibly and disconnect from the VPN when finished.

  6. Log out when your session is complete.

    On the AnyConnect status modal, click 'Disconnect' to disconnect from the VPN.
