Pursue Spanish
- Spanish majors desire to be immersed in the world of Spanish language and culture. They are equipped to connect with Spanish speakers and readers across a variety of industries and cultures—both in the US and globally. They are committed to mastering the language while also desiring to cooperatively and effectively communicate their ideas.
- Spanish majors are required to take at least four Spanish courses, so take one early to see if the major is a good fit. For those who are comfortable with Spanish and are interested in testing into a higher-level Spanish course, placement tests are available through the School of Humanities (Click here for Departmental Exam page). Beyond these courses, students can select Humanities and Social Science courses that equip them in their desired degree and career.
- This degree can be completed fully online or with a mix of on-campus and online courses.
- GHC’s Spanish degree is a good first step toward a bachelor’s in any Modern Language (including Education), International Affairs, or any degree that focuses on crafting a message for an audience.
