This pathway, in partnership with the Georgia Film Academy, equips students to understand and contribute to various stages of Film & Digital Entertainment development. This program offers four distinct concentrations to help students further refine their interests: Digital Entertainment, Film & TV Production, Film & TV Post Production, and Film Studies. Below, you’ll find pathway checklists for each concentration, outlining the steps to complete the program, which typically takes two years to finish. Pursue Film & Digital Entertainment

  • Film & Digital Entertainment majors want to be part of understanding and developing visual media. Students who choose the Digital Entertainment concentration receive hands-on experience in designing and developing online experiences, such as Esports.
  • The Digital Entertainment concentration courses through the Georgia Film Academy provide students with exposure, training, and placement within this fast-growing industry.
  • This degree can be completed fully online or with a mix of on-campus and online courses. This degree requires courses through the Georgia Film Academy beyond GHC (Georgia Film Academy).
  • GHC's Film & Digital Entertainment degree with a concentration in Digital Entertainment is a good first step toward a career in Digital Entertainment.
  • Film & Digital Entertainment majors want to be part of understanding and developing visual media. Students who choose the Film & TV Production concentration receive hands-on experience to take films to completion until the cameras stop rolling and the lights go out.
  • The Film & TV Production concentration courses through the Georgia Film Academy prepare students for the craft and on-set work required before and during production.
  • This degree can be completed fully online or with a mix of on-campus and online courses. This degree requires courses through the Georgia Film Academy beyond GHC (Georgia Film Academy).
  • GHC's Film & Digital Entertainment degree with a concentration in Film & TV Production is a good first step toward a career on the set side of film production while also laying the foundation for a future bachelor's in Film/Media Production.
