Pursue Dental Hygiene (RDH)

  • The Dental Hygiene program starts in the Fall semester and allows students to finish their degree in just five semesters (including Summer), provided they’ve completed all required prerequisites. As a result, the application for the Dental Hygiene program is March 15th
  • Before being admitted to the Dental Hygiene program, students need to focus on the required prerequisites for the program, such as their first Chemistry course. GHC’s lab science prerequisite for Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology prepares students to understand how a college lab science works before taking these courses that form a crucial portion of their admission score.
  • For their Humanities elective, students should choose the option that interests them most since it will help them connect with patients on a heart level.
  • While Dental Hygiene classes (once accepted into the program) are only offered on campus, other required prerequisite courses are available on campus, online, or a mix of both.
