This pathway, in partnership with the Georgia Film Academy, equips students to understand and contribute to various stages of Film & Digital Entertainment development. This program offers four distinct concentrations to help students further refine their interests: Digital Entertainment, Film & TV Production, Film & TV Post Production, and Film Studies. - Film & Digital Entertainment majors want to be part of understanding and developing visual media. Students who choose the Digital Entertainment concentration receive hands-on experience in designing and developing online experiences, such as Esports.
- The Digital Entertainment concentration courses through the Georgia Film Academy provide students with exposure, training, and placement within this fast-growing industry.
- This degree can be completed fully online or with a mix of on-campus and online courses. This degree requires courses through the Georgia Film Academy beyond GHC (Georgia Film Academy).
- GHC's Film & Digital Entertainment degree with a concentration in Digital Entertainment is a good first step toward a career in Digital Entertainment.

- Film & Digital Entertainment majors want to be part of understanding and developing visual media. Students who choose the Film Studies concentration will learn the tiny details behind and big-picture impact of films as they pursue a more traditional degree.
- The Film Studies concentration courses give students a foundational understanding of film mechanics and creative narratives. Courses than broaden a student's understanding of human contexts, culture, and behavior will also benefit Film Studies students.
- This degree can be completed fully online or with a mix of on-campus and online courses. This degree can be completed fully at GHC.

Course Offering: Film Production
Students concentrating in Film Production experience a hands-on program that provides students with an understanding of motion pictures as a form of expression, experience in all phases of the production process, and awareness of how to succeed in the industry. Apart from GHC’s Intro to Film Production course these courses are delivered by the Georgia Film Academy (students pursuing this pathway are required to travel to GFA teaching locations). This program capstones with a student internship on a major filmset.

- Learn from professionals in the Film, Television and Digital Entertainment industries
- Take classes at an industry hub facilitated with a package of professional-level equipment
- Participate in on-set, hands-on experience and simulated “real world” projects, coupled with in-classroom course work Work hands-on with professional production equipment (cameras, sound gear, lights, etc.) as well as production trucks and generators on studio soundstages
- Apply for an internship or apprenticeship on a major film production set, television studio, editing house or digital entertainment lab in order to develop recognized film credits, through partnerships with professional productions
- Receive one-on-one job counseling to include resume preparation, job research and job placement outreach from GFA Earn a Georgia Film Academy industry certification, recognized by production companies, studios, networks, vendors, and other entertainment businesses which may employ Georgians
