Pursue Agriculture
- The agriculture program provides students with a jumpstart of opportunities for hands-on experience, whether through lab work, field trips, or internships, allowing them to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.
- This program includes a lot of science and math, with advanced classes in Biology, Chemistry, and Calculus. We recommend that students feel confident in their science and math skills before enrolling.
- Since many of the science courses in this program involve hands-on learning, most of the program will need to be completed on-campus. However, other core curriculum courses can be taken online, if needed.
- As a transfer program, this associate degree serves as a steppingstone to a bachelor’s degree at any other University System of Georgia institution (USG) for those who wish to continue their education in agriculture or a related field.
