Home -grown author Jeanne Braselton will be reading and discussing her novel A False Sense of Well Being with the FC Book Forum on Jan. 24, 2003

We welcome everyone who has an interest in reading books and bringing them alive through discussion. Our group is made up of faculty, staff and students at Georgia Highlands College, as well as members of the Floyd, Bartow, Polk, Chattooga, and Haralson County communities.

Sandra Meek, poet and writer-in-residence at Berry College is reading from her book of poetry, Nomadic Foundations, Feb. 19, 2003
 

Playwright Tom Stoppard's play "Arcadia," will be discussed in

anticipation of attending the Alabama Shakespeare Theater's production later in March 2003.  The Book Forum will be March 13, 2003 and presented by Dr. Kristi Kemper, Professor of English.
 

2001 Nobel Prize for Literature winner V.S. Naipaul's novel A Bend in the River will be the topic of our last Forum of the spring semester, Apr. 24, 2003.   Dr. Adetutu Abatan, Assistant Professor of English, and  Jeanie Cassity, director of the FC Tutorial Center, will be our presenters du jour.
