Latest Update: 1-6-2010
Dear Part-time Faculty,
Thank you very much for agreeing to teach with Georgia Highlands College during Spring Semester 2010! A new decade...unbelievable.
Enrollment for Spring 2010 continues to change by the minute. There are two more orientations this week with at least 300 students expected to attend. Some sections remain small. I anticipate several additional staffing changes between now and Monday. As always, please be patient and flexible as we work to adapt the course schedule and staffing to accommodate the needs the students.
If you need textbooks or course materials, contact Johnny (
Remember to take into account the part-of-term in which your class meets as your organize your syllabus and distribute midterm dates, etc. Here's the link. Most math classes are full session, while most FCCS classes are 3rd session. If you have questions about the term dates, contact Johnny, Kelly, or me.
The final exam dates for Spring 2010 are online and listed in the course bulletin. Please be sure to hold your exam during the scheduled exam time.
If you are teaching FCCS 1100 or College Algebra (MATH 1111), QEP implementation (IC @ GHC) continues in spring term. Please work with Harriet Kiser (hkiser@highlands.edu) or Libby Gore (lgore@highlands.edu) regarding QEP assessment requirements.
Best wishes for a very happy 2010!
Brent
