Traveler may not claim a meal allowance if the meals are included in the registration fee paid by Georgia Highlands College. This applies even if the traveler decides not to eat the meals. In that case, the traveler must provide an explanation and receipt for the actual meal expense.

Continental Breakfast and banquets are considered meals.

A reception is not considered a meal.

A copy of the conference agenda must be submitted with the expense report receipts and Travel Checklist.

Registration fees should be documented with receipts. See Business Procedures Manual (Section 4.9.4) for full registration fee guidelines.
