Students share a laugh on the Floyd campus.

GHC students returned to classes on Saturday, Jan.5, for what promises to be an energetic spring semester 2013.  For sophomores, there's the prospect of graduation and transfer to another institution.  For sports lovers, there is the continuation of the basketball season.  The women's team, ranked seventh nationally, carries the hope of its fans that it will move onto the season's play-offs.  The men's team continues stronger each game.  For Cartersville students, 11 great high school recruits will sign letters of intent on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. in the Student Center.  Of course, there are many special-interest organizations on all campuses where students can pursue the activities they most enjoy.
