Student Technology Fee

Welcome to the Georgia Highlands College Student Technology Fee website. The purpose of this site is to provide you with information about what the Student Technology Fee is, how it is used, and how it benefits you. You can also participate in how this money is used by submitting proposals for technology-related projects.

Since its inception, the Georgia Highlands College Student Technology Fee has been used to provide numerous innovative technologies to our student population. This includes computers in computer labs spread across all of our campuses, printers, networking equipment, and support staff that are necessary to provide these services and enrich the student's experience. Some examples of projects funded by this fee include:

  • New and replacement computers for labs and classrooms, including new iMac labs in Rome and Cartersville, to keep current with emerging technology
  • New state of the art wireless equipment for Rome, Cartersville and Heritage Hall
