Annual Initiatives for GHC and Beyond
Describes the current year’s faculty initiatives related to teaching and learning. Each year GHC focuses on certain areas of interest to faculty and students. The initiatives become a theme to tie various development opportunities together. The most recent annual initiative has been the Year of the Game, sponsored by the Academic Success and eLearning Division. Related activities so far have been regular discussion sessions on educational game theory and practice, training for educational game software, and participation in University System of Georgia faculty development seminars.
