The Information Technology Department has requested the following:

There are a few of items of need for the IT Department. The first is the need for a new Ticketing system. This helpdesk model would improve workflow assignments for IT staff, improve efficiencies in problem resolution for end users, and provide necessary benchmarking data for IT Management on technology related service data. The second area of concern is extending the online secure card swipes for the Rome Campus. Currently, the Cartersville Campus has this capability and houses the central system. Plans were to extend this capability to the Rome Campus, replacing the outdated and labor intensive managed standalone locks. This first system needs to be installed to cover the Rome IT Department. The last item involves the Cartersville Campus. The IT Department server room there is protected by a backup generator. There are five other IDF rooms located throughout the building. These IDF rooms serve data and voice capabilities for the campus. These rooms need homerun circuits that go back to the generator. This would keep all operations up when the power goes out (including phones).
