Long-term Disability Insurance

There are two options offered for LTD. One option has a 3 month waiting period. The annual premium is $.26/$100 of annual base salary for employees participating in the Optional Retirement Program and $.40/$100 for employees participating in the Teacher Retirement Program. The second option has a 5 month waiting period with a premium of $.18/$100 for Optional Retirement participants, and $.20/$100 for Teacher Retirement participants. The LTD benefit is 60% of monthly salary up to a maximum monthly benefit of $10,000.
