Using GHC Connect
GHC Connect is Georgia Highlands College’s Account Management System. Think of GHC Connect as a “one stop shop” for all account-related issues you may have. You can access GHC Connect by going to highlands.edu/connect. Click the “Proceed to Login” link after you’ve read the introduction.
Use your network username and password to access this system.
You can use GHC Connect to perform the following account-related actions:
Using the “Password” tab, you can change your network/email account password. As you are typing the new password, you will notice a strength meter indicating how weak or strong the new password is. Remember, this only changes the password for your network/email account – not for any other account.
Using the “Wireless” tab, you can find information on how to setup your computer for wireless. The username will be the same as your network/email account username.
Using the “SCORE” tab, you can view information on how to obtain help with your SCORE account. Because this account is NOT managed by the Information Technology Department, this tab will contain information about who to contact for assistance.
Using the “Desire-2-Learn” tab, Desire-2-Learn (usually referred to as D2L) is an online learning management system for your classes that has replaced GeorgiaView Vista. Instructors often post assignments, lessons, syllabi, and other class-related material here. Keep in mind that not all instructors use Desire-2-Learn.
