ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Do Early Bird Advising and register early for fall term!  Early Bird Advising:  March 14-25

RN Program - It is now a requirement for students to be certified nursing assistants prior to starting the nursing program.

  • Fall 2016:  Students accepted into the nursing program for fall 2016 must provide a copy of their CNA certification by the time classes start in August.
  • Fall 2017:  Applicants must provide a copy of their CNA certification along with their application to the program.

Paramedic-RN Bridge - It is a requirement for students to have their CNA to start the Paramedic-RN career mobility program.

  • Spring 2017:  Applicants must provide a copy of their CNA certification along with their application to the program.

GHC CNA Course through Continuing Education

Important Dates:

  • Last Day to Withdraw without Academic Penalty (full-term classes)   March 14

                       (be sure to check the academic calendar for specific class deadlines)

  • Summer Registration Begins:  March 14
  • Early Bird Advising:  March 14-25
  • Spring Break – No Classes:  March 28-April 3
  • Fall Registration Begins:  April 11 (Early fall registration is April 4 with an EBA note in Scorecard.)
  • Classes End:  May 2
  • Graduation:  May 7

Steps to Register for each term:

  • Look up the courses you still need in ScoreCard.
  • Look under Course Offerings to plot your personal schedule.
  • Register yourself through SCORE or
  • See an advisor for registration if you have holds.

Advising activities at GHC are spread throughout the college in order to provide the widest possible chance for students to contact advisors and make the most of their courses and time.  Advisors are available in the following ways:
