GPA Computation

The formula for computing a student's grade point average is as follows: Total quality grade points earned divided by total semester hours scheduled equals GPA. Institutional credit shall in no way affect the cumulative grade point average.

Example: A in a 3-hour course, B in a 3-hour course and B in a 2-hour course. (4x3) + (3x3) + (3x2) = 27 quality points. Divide 27 by 9 (total hours attempted) produces a 3.0 GPA.
