This scholarship is awarded twice per year - once in the fall and once in the spring - to an outstanding non-traditional student who has successfully completed all learning support requirements. Awards range from $500 to $1,000 per year ($500 per semester). |

Requirements |
The student must be a non-traditional student (25 years of age or older by August 1st).
Students must have successfully completed all learning support requirements and have plans to enroll next semester in regular studies courses at Georgia Highlands College. Students must file the Federal Financial Aid Forms by April 1. To complete Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), visit http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ Must have financial need with little aid from other sources. |

Complete Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). http://www.fafsa.edu/gov/ Complete the Georgia Highlands College Scholarship Application (Forms). Have a reference submit a recommendation form. Your reference should be professional or academic. Personal recommendations are not appropriate (Forms). Submit a 500 word essay (as an e-mail or Word attachment) that describes how learning support has contributed to their academic progress.
