Grading: There will be 5 tests and a Final Exam. You will be able to drop your lowest test grade.

Calculator: You need a basic scientific calculator like a TI-30. If you know for certain that you are taking MATH1111 you can have a TI-83 or similar graphing calculator.

Attendance: Mandatory. Donít arrive late and donít leave early. Once you get to class be prepared to stay. Donít come and go during class. If you do come and go I will consider that a class disruption and refer you to the college disciplinary system.

Cell Phone: Using your cell phone or any other technology during class to communicate outside of class is not allowed and will be considered a class disruption.

Class Expectations: During class I expect you to pay attention, take notes, and ask questions. I do not expect you to carry on conversations with other students, sleep, or in any way disrupt the class. Any form of cheating on tests will be immediately referred to the discipline process and could lead to your dismissal from the college.
