Earned BA in Human Development and Family Life from University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.  Earned AA in Nursing from College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.  Earned BSN from University of Illinois at the Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.  Earned MS from Northern Illinois Univeristy in Dekalb, Illinois.  Have taken post-masters graduate work at UAB.

Have been a nurse educator for more than 30 years.  Nursing experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Client Education both as a staff nurse and a manager.  Masters foci was Gerontology, Oncology, and Curriculum Development. 

I have taught with the Nursing Department at Georgia Highlands College for more than 15 years.
