To commemorate Black History Month, Brother 2 Brother is sponsoring a series of events on the Floyd, Cartersville, and Paulding campuses.  These events will include readings, poetry, and music; please contact the student organizer or student life coordinator on your campus for more information.

All events will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014 and are open to all students, faculty, and staff.  The public is welcome to attend, as well.

Brother 2 Brother is the Georgia Highlands Chapter of a national organization with nearly 300 chapters.  B2B's mission is to enhance the recruitment, retention and graduation rates of African American and  Latino male students at GHC. B2B is part of the GHAME initiative – Georgia Highlands African American and Minority Male Excellence. Support comes from the University System's AAMI (African American Male Initiative) and the 100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest GA. The Georgia Highlands chapter of B2B has won state and national awards.
