This scholarship is awarded twice per year in the fall and in the spring.  The number of scholarships varies according to the amount of funds available.

 

Description

General scholarship for non-traditional students. Awards range from $500 to $1000.00 per year ($500.00 per semester) to non-traditional students. A non-traditional student is a student who is over 25 years of age.

Requirements

Students must be 25 years of age or older by August 1st.

Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Must have financial need with little aid from other sources.

Students must file the Federal Financial Aid Forms and the Georgia Highlands College Financial Aid Forms by April 1st.

Scholarship winners will be required to work at least 10 hours during the basketball tournament for a two semester scholarship and 5 hours for a one semester scholarship.
