Applicant must be medically diagnosed by a qualified professional as having a cognitive disability (including, but not limited to ADD or ADHD).  The Access Center will verify this requirement.  Contact Sheryl Ballenger sballenger@highlands.edu

How to Apply

1. Complete Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
2. Complete the GHC Scholarship Application. (Application)
3. Obtain a recommendation from the GHC Access Center (Director, Sheryl Ballenger: sballenger@highlands.edu) and submit documentation of diagnosis to the Access Center.
4. Submit an essay describing educational goals, challenges and how the scholarship would assist in pursuing education and/or career goals.
5. Send paper scholarship application, recommendation and essay to Office of Advancement at address below.
