FULL-TIME  CUSTODIAN

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School diploma or GED required.

· Experience in the cleaning of large buildings is required.

· Must have experience in the use of cleaning equipment and the safe use of chemicals used (stripping/waxing floors, floor scrubbing & carpet/steam cleaners).

· 18 years of age or older.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Clean windows inside and outside.

· Must be able to climb a ladder to perform some duties.

· Empty wastebaskets, replace liners, and transport waste to central dumpster.

· Bag/transport recyclable items to central location.

· Sweep, mop, buff and wax all tile floors in work area and vacuum/spot clean all carpet.

· Clean restrooms fixtures, toilet bowls, urinals, sinks, soap dispensers, mirrors, and partitions in area; restock soap and paper products.

· Report problems such as leaks, non-flushing commodes, etc. as needed.

· Dust/clean desks, marker boards, telephones, countertops, chairs, tables, etc. in offices and classrooms.

· Spot clean walls, doors, woodwork.

POSITION AVAILABLE:            April 2008

SALARY:                                      $8.00+ per hour – depending on experience
