This is a nine-month, tenure-track teaching position beginning August 2008.
Duties and Responsibilities: Position will involve teaching a variety of courses (both lecture and laboratory) to both Biology majors and non-majors that include but are not limited to General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, and Medical Microbiology and Integrated Science courses. The candidate must be willing to teach day and evening classes at multiple campus locations. Additional duties include academic advising and serving on appropriate departmental, divisional, and institutional committees as assigned.
Qualifications: Position requires a Master’s degree in biological Science or related field; an earned Doctorate preferred. At least 18 graduate hours (18 semester hours) in Biological Science is required. Familiarity with computer technology is strongly desired.
