QUALIFICATIONS:
·
Master's degree in Nursing required; Doctorate
preferred
·
Licensure or eligibility for licensure in GA
·
Experience in teaching or extensive clinical
experience in area of
medical/surgical,
obstetrics, or pediatric nursing. Mental health nursing
experience preferred
·
Commitment to the philosophy of Associate’s Degree
in Nursing
Education
·
Ability to work with students and colleagues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
·
Classroom teaching (team approach needed)
·
Clinical/laboratory instruction and supervision of
at least 20 students as needed
·
Perform campus lab skill practice demonstrations
and lab check-offs with students
·
Serve on division and college-wide committees
·
Participate in Nursing curriculum planning,
implementation and evaluation
·
Other duties and responsibilities assigned by
Division Chair
