QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, but
will accept Associate’s degree with some Financial Aid experience
· Strong
interpersonal/organizational skills and effective communication skills (written
& oral) needed
· Excellent communication skills are
a must
· Must be able to work as a team
member and/or independently.
Multi-tasking skills required
· Must have experience with
Microsoft Office or related software.
BANNER experience highly desired, but will train.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Counsel with students and parents
concerning Financial Aid programs, options, and requirements
· Process state and federal student
financial aid, to included but not limited to student loans, Pell Grants, and HOPE scholarship
· Assist with Financial Aid
workshops within the community and at orientations;
· must be able to travel to all
campus locations as needed and occasionally work non-standard business hours.
· May be required to serve on
committees outside of the department to facilitate communication between
Financial Aid and other organization departments
SALARY
RANGE: Commensurate with
experience
