The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is committed to excellence in its services. To insure that this excellence is not compromised, the OIEPR maintains an impartial role to the entire College community. The OIEPR approaches all endeavors with the highest of standards and ethics and professionalism.
Our Continuous Improvement Philosophy
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Planning and Research staff members are committed to continuous improvement of the quality of students' learning experiences and the effectiveness and efficiency of Georgia Highlands College (GHC) by generating high quality information and research for decision-making, institutional assessment, and planning purposes; and offering research-related assistance designed to improve the quality of life for citizens of GHC.

At OIEPR, we place a high priority on disseminating essential information efficiently and in a way that can be acted upon by our clients. We quickly and effectively utilize the Internet, traditional information channels and industry standard source providers to distribute our deliverables to inform our productive and research activity. With that in mind, we strive to provide our clients with the most pertinent and actionable information, as it impacts the institution and individual units, to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and academic distinction of GHC so it will be viewed not only as a model institution, but also as a postsecondary transfer and career education national leader for the Information Age.
