FULL-TIME CUSTODIAN - Douglasville, GA Campus
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
required
- Experience in the cleaning of large
buildings is required
- Must have custodial experience
in the use of cleaning machinery and the safe use of chemicals used
(stripping/waxing floors, floor scrubbing & carpet/steam cleaners)
- 18 years of age or older with
valid Georgia
drivers license
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clean
windows inside and outside.
- Must be able to climb a ladder
to perform some duties.
- Empty
wastebaskets, replace liners, and transport move bulk quantities of trash and
debris
- Deliver, receive, and transport
miscellaneous supplies/goods to various buildings on campus
- Sweep,
mop, scrub, buff and wax all tile floors in work area and vacuum/spot clean all
carpet.
- Clean restrooms fixtures, toilet
bowls, urinals, sinks, soap dispensers, mirrors, drinking fountains, and
partitions in area; restock soap and paper products.
- Report problems such as leaks,
non-flushing commodes, etc. as needed.
- Dust/clean desks, marker boards,
telephones, countertops, chairs, tables, etc. in offices and classrooms; moves
office furniture and equipment as required
- Work overtime occasionally

4, 2010
Salary Range: $8.65 per hour
