J. Clayton L. Jones's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Poetry Daily, Writers' Bloc, Word Catalyst Magazine, nibble, Calliope Nerve, The Clockwise Cat, and Shoots and Vines where he was a featured writer for the month of December. Jones will attend the the fifth annual conference of the Georgia Philological Association this spring where he will present a paper and conduct a panel discussion entitled "Emily Dickinson at the Grand Ole Opry: Pedagogical Strategies in Regard to the Logos, Ethos, and Pathos in the Poems of Emily Dickinson and Country Music". Jones also completed a manuscript of poetry entitled Excavation and is waiting to hear back from potential publishers.
