Bill and Pat Eakes Nursing Scholarship	2nd Year Nursing Student Deadline July 7, 2009
Jim and Ida Cook Study Abroad Scholarship	This scholarship is intended to enable a Georgia Highlands College student to travel and study outside the United States. Deadline January 31, 2009
Bartow County Service Scholarship	Any Major - Must be a resident of Bartow County. Deadline March 1, 2009
Georgia Highlands College Non-Traditional Scholarships	Any Major - These scholarships are established for non-traditional students. Students must be 25 years of age or older by August 1st, 2007. Deadlines: March 1, 2009 (Fall 2009) October 17, 2009 (Spring 2010)
Criminal Justice Scholarship	The Community Criminal Justice Scholarship is funded by the Rome Rotary Club and the Community Criminal Justice Foundation, Inc. The scholarship is designed to help a Criminal Justice major with the first 30-hours of coursework. The objective of the scholarship is to help the recipient become eligible for the HOPE scholarship and complete their degree in Criminal Justice. Deadline March 1, 2009
Walraven Scholarship	Graduating senior from Pepperell High School, preferably with an interest in math and/or science. Deadline March 1, 2009
Bloomfield Dental Hygiene Scholarship	Dental Hygiene Major- Second-year Dental Hygiene students. Deadline August 2009
Betty R. Wollstein Nursing Scholarship	First-year nursing major - Tuition fees and books for one year Deadline August 8, 2009
Carlin Routledge Nursing Scholarship	First-year nursing major - Tuition, fees, and books for one year. Deadline August 8, 2009
Lovie Borchardt	Any female student that intends to pursue a career in education. Deadline March 1, 2009
McCorkle Creative Society Award	Any major. Deadline March 1, 2009
Callahan Scholarship	This scholarship is for outstanding non-traditional students who have exited all Learning Support requirements. Deadline March 1, 2009
Shanahan Scholarship	Open to any student with a documented learning disability. Deadline June 1, 2009
The Lynn and Barry Henderson Scholarship	Recipient(s) must be enrolled in the math or science academic programs at GHC; Recipient(s) must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher; Recipient(s) must demonstrate financial need as determinied by the GHC financial aid office. Deadline March 1st of current year

Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship	Open to students with minimum 3.50 GPA and plans to transfer to a four-year college or university in fall 2008. Nominations made by GHC - contact Tammy Nicholson at tnichols@highlands.edu for more information and eligibility requirements. Deadline January 17, 2009
Regents Study Abroad Scholarship	Any USG student in good academic standing studying abroad on an approved study abroad program is eligible to apply for the Regents Scholarship.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund	Open to students of Hispanic heritage with a minimum 3.0 GPA and with plans to transfer to a four-year institution full-time in fall 2008
