Independent Student - See requirements below
A student is classified as an independent student ONLY if one or more of the following apply:
- The student is 24 years old or older
- The student is married
- The student has a child whom which they provide more than half of their financial support
- The student is considered an orphan or ward of court
- The student is a veteran of the United States Armed Forces
- The student has been admitted to a Master's or Doctoral program
