IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID ANNOUNCEMENTS
*** Attention Students ***
Are
you planning on attending GHC this Summer? Are you interested in
receiving Financial Aid during the summer semester?
If you answered “Yes” to these questions then you MUST complete the
Summer Financial Aid Application!!
This is separate from the FAFSA; however, if you have not completed a FAFSA for 2007-2008 you must complete this first and once we’ve received your FAFSA you must complete the Summer Aid application.
WHO? WHAT? WHEN? WHERE? WHY?
Who: ALL students, including those who have already received financial aid for the Fall and/or Spring semesters MUST complete the Summer Aid Application in order for Summer aid eligibility to be determined! This includes HOPE recipients!
What: The summer aid application is the application that lets the financial aid office know you wish to receive financial aid for summer and allows them to determine your summer aid eligibility.
When: Priority deadline is March 1st! However, Applications will be taken through July 1st 2008.
Where: The application is located under the "Forms" link listed above.
Why: Financial Aid is awarded manually for Summer Semester. Therefore, the Summer Aid Application is necessary so we can award those students who attend Summer Semester.
ANY APPLICATION TURNED IN WITHOUT A VALID 2007-2008 FAFSA WILL NOT BE PROCESSED!
