WELCOME!
A student with a disability is entitled to non-discrimination and reasonable accommodations. Our Access Center provides students access to our campuses' services, programs, and activities with access being the key word.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Access Center at Georgia Highlands College is to develop and provide reasonable programs and services that allow students with disabilities that are enrolled at the college to meet the demands of college life, as independently as possible.
The Access Center provides accessible programs, services, and reasonable accommodations for any student with a documented, qualifying disability as defined by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
