“Gallery of Best Cover  Letters  –  A Collection of Quality Cover Letters by Professional Resume Writers” by David F. Noble.  This book has tons of examples of great cover letters.

 “The Resume Catalog: 200 Damn Good Examples”  by Yana Parker.  This book is great because it shows the layout of a resume and gives examples specific to various career types.

“Resumes that Knock ‘em Dead” by Martin Yate.

“What Color is Your Parachute?” by Steven C. Hayes

                                      

Transition to college life: “Coping with College: A Guide for Academic Success” by Alice L. Hamachek.  This is a fun and easy read with tons of helpful tips.

“Making Your Mark” 8th edition, by Lisa Fraser. This book offers Time Management tips, Study Hints, and Note-taking tips. It helps you prepare for Exams, Papers, Reports, and Assignments.

Help with Anxiety: “The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook” by Bourne.   This book has great exercises and is very useful for all degrees of anxiety.

“Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Life” by Steven C. Hayes.

“30 Scripts for Relaxation, Imagery, and Inner Healing”  by Julie T. Lusk. It gives great techniques for relaxing.

Depression: “New Light on Depression” by David B.  Biebel  and Harold G. Koenig,  M.D. This book offers hope and healing; An understanding of Depression, causes, & treatments for those who suffer from Depression and those who want to help.

“The Self – Esteem Guided Journal  – a 10 week program” by Matthew McKay, PH, D.,  & Catherine Sutker.  This journal is the best you will find for building healthy self- esteem and discovering your road map to the exciting possibilities that lie before you.

 Assertiveness: “The Book of No: 250 Ways to Say It – and mean It and Stop People-Pleasing Forever” by Susan Newman, PhD.  This book gives a lot of real world scenarios and how to word responses to be assertive without seeming rude.

Relationship Help: “The Five Love Languages” by Dr. Gary Chapman. This book is great because it helps people understand their own needs and their partners’ needs in a relationship.

 “The Truth about Love: The Highs, the Lows, and How You Can Make It Last Forever” by Patricia Love. A realistic view and understanding of a solid relationship that can last.
