The Georgia Highlands College Tutorial Center provides assistance in mathematics, English, and reading. In other areas, students may use computerized tutorials, check with t
utors to locate other resources, or arrange study groups led by a tutor.
Novanet is a comprehensive computer tutorial which is loaded on the ten stationary computers in the Center, and it provides practice in a wide variety of academic areas.
There are also eight laptop stations where students can work and be assisted as needed in their work on the computer. It is the purpose of the Georgia Highlands College Tutorial Center to help students succeed in their chosen college curriculum and to help them improve their academic skills. Instructors serve as a referral source for the Tutorial Center; however, students are also encouraged to drop by.
The Georgia Highlands College Tutorial Center is located in the library of Georgia Highlands College and hours of tutors are posted each semester.
