Campus Safety
Georgia Highlands College has security personnel on campus 24 hours, every day of the year. The security officers patrol the campus on foot and in vehicles. In the evening they patrol the parking lots, especially during the changing of classes. If a student needs an escort to a vehicle, security will assist them. Security also assists students with automobile problems,
locked keys in cars, and dead car batteries. Security is responsible for enforcing the rules and regulations of campus as well as issuing traffic violations. All accidents should be reported to Campus Security. For complete motor vehicle policies, please see Traffic Rules Regulations Pamphlet or visit the Campus Safety web page from Campus Life on the Georgia Highlands College home page.
