Fee Page

The trip fee for the 2010 Wyoming Geology Option is $1500.00. This fee is payable in installments, but a nonrefundable deposit of $300.00 is due as soon as you have been accepted into the courses. Installment payment dates for the balance are as follows:

$600 by February 1, and $600 by April 1.

What does the $1500 fee include?
Round trip airfare from Atlanta to Denver.
All ground transportation as well as a boatride in Alcova Lake and Fremont Canyon.
All lodging (4 to a room). more details
Selected meals. more details
Entrance to Museums, National Parks, fossil collecting quarry, and other points of interest.
Entrance to the Hot Springs in Thermopolis.
Use of course materials such as maps, guidebooks, and other field equipment (GPS, hammers, compasses, binoculars, etc.)

What does the $1500 fee not include?
Tuition and fees normally associated with attending Georgia Highlands College are not included in the $1500 trip fee. The fee does not cover all of your meals (see below for more detail).

The fee does not include insurance coverage during the trip. You must provide proof of personal insurance coverage to participate.

The amount of spending money you will need varies greatly according to individual preferences. You should plan on bringing at least $500 in cash with you for food, souvenirs, and miscellaneous expenses.
