Goals

Sponsor an Alumni Day at Georgia Highlands College for current students, faculty/staff, alumni and their families.
Facilitate communication between alumni, the Alumni Board of Directors and the College.
Organize and support Alumni Interest Groups (AIGs) in departments where there is a strong sense of identity and cohesiveness.
Develop programs and services to meet alumni needs, i.e., networking opportunities, educational, social, and career service programs.
Provide opportunities for leadership and participation within the Alumni Association and other college related activities.
Explore developing a Mentoring Program giving students an opportunity to meet successful Georgia Highlands Alumni.
Develop programs and services that would be of interest to current students, i.e., career assistance/mentoring programs, successful ways to juggle work, family, and school, and money management.
Establish a Scholarship Program.
