Confidentiality

The proceedings in the Mediation are held as confidential by each mediator. Confidentiality will only be broken if either individual is criminal in nature, violent or threats of violence are made; and/or if the co-mediators reasonably believe that safety of persons is imminent.

After the mediation, notes are not kept and the mediator(s) cannot testify for or against any party should the process later evolve into a grievance or legal proceeding.
