Beyond the patchwork pastures and bucolic landscapes, Ireland bears a rich and complex history. In Dublin, witness the legacy of saints, writers and the revolutionaries of the Irish War of Independence. Discover the trials of Irish emigrants, as you board the reconstructed Dunbrody, a so called "famine ship." Cross into Northern Ireland to reach Belfast, once the epicenter of religious strife in Ireland and now a city of rebirth.
