Destination: Germany, Italy and Switzerland
Areas of Study: Human Communications and Principles of Macroeconomics

Spend 15 days touring Frankfurt, Rothenburg, Munich, Venice, Lucerne, Heidelberg, Strasbourg, Paris, and  Versailles. Earn up to six credit hours. This program allows students the opportunity to take part in Maymester classes, Human Communications and/or Principles of Macroeconomics, and participate in a fifteen day tour of central Europe. Tour highlights include tours of Heidelberg and Linderhof Castles, Sightseeing in Munich, Dachau Italy, and Venice, tour of Doges' Palace, a Glass-blowing demonstration Paris, tour of Dilsberg Fortress, Musee d'Orsay, and Notre-Dame, Sightseeing in Paris, Versailles, Louvre, and Lucerne.

Study in Europe Dates: May 17 – 31, 2008

Courses offered include Human Communications (COMM 1100) and Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 2105). Courses are part of the Maymester offerings at GHC and will meet on the Floyd Campus from May 5 through May 15th. Classes will be enriched by taking part in the optional study abroad program in Europe. Program departs on May 17 with a return date of May 31. Students may choose to enroll in one or both classes in order to earn up to six credit hours. Traditional scholarships including the HOPE Scholarship can be applied to the cost of tuition. Additional scholarships to assist with the cost of the program in Europe are also available.

Base cost for the Germany, Italy and Switzerland Program is $2,015. Additional costs may include trip insurance and a fee for non-traditional students.
