Resources for Careers in Music

I love music!  Now, what can I do with a major in it?

Although you might just possibly become a high-paid rock star, consider more realistic career goals.  And there are many for music majors.

Music majors can go into church music, be a private touring musician, give private lessons, or be a member of an orchestra or opera company.

Music education majors work as school or college music teachers, or as band or choral directors.

A music major with a minor in business could be a business agent or manager, or director of development or public relations for a symphony or opera company.
