Placement Tests are available for any students who would like to exempt SPAN 1001 and/or SPAN 1002.  Placement Tests are roughly two hours in length and covers concepts and objectives corresponding to the appropriate level of language being tested.  A successful outcome on the Placement Test allows the student credit for the tested course and eligibility to continue in the language sequence. 

*The 1001 level of a foreign language is to satisfy CPC deficiencies only.  It does not count as credit toward graduation.

To be eligible for the Placement Test, a student must have completed two years of high school Spanish. 

The Placement Tests for SPAN 1001 and SPAN 1002 will be administered at the following locations, dates and times:
