What do the classes fulfill? • ENGL 2111 is an Area C requirement for all transfer programs of study (Prerequisite: ENGL 1101 and ENGL 1102 with a grade of "C" or better) • HIST 1111 is an Area E non-US History requirement for all transfer programs of study Benefits for Students • This learning community offers – an opportunity to see more of the big picture and a larger value to the coursework – an opportunity to become more familiar with each other and the instructors, and thus connect to the learning in a more meaningful way – a bonding in the classroom, which leads to the creation of a support system out of the classroom What other students have said “Great course...It really helped having both at the same time, not only to understand the literature but the history as well.
