Jacksonville, Alabama, and remains active in JSU alumni
activities and Delta Zeta Sorority, the latter of which
explaining the turtle collection |

* Worked with Floyd College's Extended Learning Department and GHTV for seven years prior to joining the
English Department full-time |

* Married to David Patterson and mother
of Haley Patterson |

* Relaxes by traveling, especially in Mexico's
Yucatan Peninsula and |

* Watches any and all types of sporting events with great
interest, especially
professional baseball, college softball and college
football – while taking tailgating to an art form with the latter |

* Enjoys studying Southern American literature and culture * Thinks Mr. Rogers
