Evaluation of Unit Goals for the Assessment (Testing) Center
The evaluation goals shown here are specific performance targets related to the Assessment Center's unit goals. Each assessment goal listed below includes the year in which it was (or is being) formally assessed.
1. Based on an exit survey, fewer than 30% of students will report that testing did not start on time. (2005-06, 2006-07)
2. Scores from tests in the core missions of the Center will be reported on a timely basis. Target times for Assessment Center staff are as follows:
- COMPASS: Scores uploaded within two business days
- Regents: Tests returned to the Board of Regents in the allotted time (scores are downloaded from BOR by another unit)
- USG Independent study and eCore tests: Tests mailed within two business days of completion (2006-07)
3. Based on an exit survey, fewer than 10% of students taking mid-terms or finals for online classes will report that testing did not occur at their preferred campus location. (2009-10)
4. At least 90% of instructors using the testing service for online classes will be satisfied with the service and will find it useful to them. (2009-10)
