eCore® and Independent Study
Test Proctoring
Georgia Highlands College is an approved testing site for both eCore® and University of Georgia Independent Study.
eCore®: Georgia Highlands College charges a $25* test proctoring fee for each eCore® exam you take at our Assessment Center. You will pay the business office before you test. Your paid receipt must be presented when you check in for testing.
It is your responsibility know the processes and procedures required of you when taking an eCore® class. Be sure to read all the information (and visit links) contained on the eCore® web site posted below. You should be familiar with all the information provided at the site.

Your failure to schedule a test at our assessment center by eCore®'s posted deadline will result in eCore® charging you a late fee or refusing to accommodate your request. After scheduling your exam date/time/location you will need to submit this information to eCore®.

Georgia Highlands College charges a $25* test proctoring fee for each independent study exam you take at our Assessment Center. You must schedule your exam and pay the business office before you will be permitted to test. Your paid receipt must be presented when you check in for testing. You must provide return postage for exam if your institution does not provide a postage paid return envelope.
Scheduling your exam:
To schedule your eCore® or Independent Study exam you must contact the GHC Assessment Center where you wish to test. Exams are proctored only during sessions set up by the assessment center coordinators. There is a $25 proctoring fee for each test. Once an appointment has been set you must pay the business office the proctoring fee. You must bring a picture ID and the paid receipt when you come to test.
If we are unable to accommodate your exam request you will need to try to schedule your exam at another college listed on the eCore® or Independent Study website.

We prefer requests made via email as often we are in the testing rooms or at other sites and cannot always answer the phone.
