Exemption
Testing
The GHC Assessment Centers
administer the FCCS 1100 exemption test by appointment only.
The FCCS 1100 exemption test has two main parts. The first
part of the test is completing a paper and pencil based multiple choice test. If
scoring 80% or above on the multiple choice test, the student then completes
the second part,
a computer-based test, to demonstrate proficiency in
basic computer skills, email, internet/Galileo searches, MS
Word, and Power Point.
Students passing the FCCS 1100 exemption test
do not receive the course credit hours and may need to take another course (usually IDIS)
to fulfill credit hours needed in
Area B Concentration.
