Testing Centers
Welcome new and current students. Georgia Highlands College has two Assessment and Testing Centers to serve our student population. The Centers are located on the Rome (Floyd) and Cartersville (Bartow) campuses. Testing is regularly scheduled at these two sites. Students must pay any required testing fee at the Accounting Services office in Rome or the Business Office at Cartersville before checking in at testing centers. A valid picture ID is required at check in for all testing at the Assessment Centers.
Tests and GHC Testing Fees:
Compass Placement Exam--no testing appointment needed at Cartersville or Rome. $20 testing fee.
Compass Exit Exam--Instructor notifies student, and testing coordinator, of eligibility to sit for exit exam. No fee is charged for this exam.
